Re: couple of pic's
Is the Brazilian bloodwood a relative of the Australian bloodwood group of trees? Looks like a damn nice bow by the way, very very flash!!

Re: couple of pic's
Evening Rod, Some great looking Bows you are making, have been watching with intrest. I caught up with my mate Ferdy a couple of weeks ago and saw the Bow you made for him, that was one Mean Mother of a Bow at 90lbs or there abouts. Due to arthritis in my shoulder I couldn't pull back to it's full potential, but the few arrows I put through it, she has some punch. I to like Ferdy shoot of the Knuckle, as Ferdy says the only way to go. Once again Rod some good looking Bows and Keep up the great work. Cheers Roadie.

First class!
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

Wow - great looking bow Rod.
Would like to see a side-by-side pic of your 1st bow against this; had a quick look but couldn't find the post.
You've certainly come a long way, fast.

Rod, Judging by everyones admiration ^^^^ for your work I don't reckon you'll have much trouble selling your bows or getting a commission Have to say they're as nice as anything (if not nicer) than some of the LB you see on the web.

if the last one was the WOW bow...this one's the JIGSAW - love the combination of the woods / timbers / lines in the riser!

Looks like you have the jigsaw puzzel worked out in those risers Rod. Is that the last of the wedge mate it shore is costly to come by these days.
The tips are looking great with the verticle inserts as well and should stregthen them to boot dont you think.
Its a pitty you have to sell a few, but you have to get the new materials from some where.
Dont get into production mate the joy of building them will become a chore.
Your making nice bows and enjoying the rewards you are a lucky man.
It has been a pleasure to watch the skills you have learned from that very first bow you posted.
Cheers Wayno

Re: couple of pic's
Thank you for your replies,Bandsaw i havent decided a price yet Kim i make sure i put ther bows on that rubbish bin for pics just for you i know you like it Yeah Butch i should have a couple of bows there to show you............Wayno your right about the wenge its pretty dear allright but i think i've got enough for a couple of handles still,i find it hard to part with the bows when i finish them the vertical glass in the tips would strengthen them for sure, nah i dont really want to get into production mate,i'll just make them, show people and if its what they want they can buy it,i dont like pressure wont have too much time for awhile with the trad shoots and hunting coming up
