1 for the pot,1 too big
G'day
Here are some pics from the latest hunting trip with trash one. Alot of planing was put into the trip and it was all worth it.
We went on to a few differnet properites and they were all top spots. on this perticular one,Dad took two pigs but the picture shown was his biggest. It was at this place i was introduced to scrub bulls, and i wont become fond of them in a hurry
on another property(with more scrub bull), I stalked in a mob of about 6-10 pigs which was full of sows and young hogs. I managed to take two pigs from the mob which were a perfect size to eat( with trash one chilli marinate)
I would like to thank butch and jo for putting their time and effort into this trip, and also Nick and Graham's great company.

Good effort mate. Nice pig and excellent photos.
It's one of my ambitions to successfully combine canoes and bows on a successful hunt one day. They go together like peaches and cream.
Mick
PS: I like the old man's yellow fletches.

There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.
thanks guys
and yes bear, there were crocs there but they were only freshys. There is supposed to be a 4 meter salty down stream but we did not canoe down that way,we just walked.
As most of you said, canoes and trad hunting are a great match. Also a great challenge, because I did take shoots sitting in the canoe.
Mick
the yellow fletch do lookgood on Dads arrows. they matched well with black cocks feathers.
Stickbow
the wasnt as much nugura bur as the was last year.Butch was plucking them out of his beard for a week

Thanks for posting the excellent Pics ET. I've really enjoyed them.
I was wondering what poundage you're taking those pigs with as I'm heading up to Darwin soon and I was wondering if I should bother taking my bow.
Regards.
Oliver.

What a great set of photos. Nicely shows the essence of your trip. I think you have given the hint for a few more photos of hunting trips.
p.s. What was the camera?

Hay ET
I bet it's good to be back at school hay ?. You did a top job on that pig the first shot was on the money but it was good to see you get that quick second shot in even though it probably wasn't needed.
The camp would have been better if that cranky sick and sore hairy faced bugger wasn't there, I don't think that I'll ever go bush again unless I'm feeling 100%.
You would have liked being here over the last week we have been yarning with a bloke who is pretty switched on about arra penetration and how to achieve it.
CATCH YA
