Just came across this guy in UK. Not as cheap as doing it all yourself but some interesting materials available in one place (sturgeon bladder glue anyone?).
He has horn arrow nocks, sinew, bamboo plugs (inserts) hide glues and more. Damascus piles for goodness sake! Linen, silk and even Ramie for making up strings and servings etc.
I particularly like the weight-matched (TO 3 or 5 GRAINS) sets of spined tomkin bamboo - $5 each to your door but tempting.
