Well Ben over the last couple of weekends I got the old albums out and scanned some photos. My Trad hunting days only started around the mid eighties. Anyway you might get a laugh.

Thanks, Jeff. They are excellent. Ted Mitchell was a bit of a longbow ace - I have his book and really enjoy the chapter about hunting buffalo. Jeff, is there any chance you could spin a yarn about the photo I've seen of you and a few others out on what looks to be a salt pan with a heap of boar tusks? Peter Stecher sent me that photo, and there must be quite a tale about that hunt. Cheers, Ben

Clint, Yeah it was rare for him to look at the camera alright.
Tommo, I did scan quite a few so I will post some more up but I would like to see some of others as well.
Ben, that photo was from a hunt with the TRASH boys about six or sevens years ago I think.

These pics are great! Thanks for posting these, fellas.

Hers another couple of old hunters i knew.
John was one of the founding members of the tville club with boora jensen his last name eludes me at present. He had the club emblem painted full size on the bonnet of his little mazda ute. Met him up in the gulf on a property i was hunting on . He stayed there till he died from some sort of muscle wasting disease. Dean went on to win model of the year and a scolarship at some swanky modeling scholl full of under weight nympho's ,,,,, POOR BUGGER

Hi guys,
Here is a nice little thread to give a poke....
Anyone have anymore to add...?
I love these old hunting pictures... ( I'm surprised they survived the site crash a few years back... )
Maybe a few of you old fellas could name a few of the old bows used...
Cheers Guy

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is no where as important as being able to place it in the correct spot....!
