Belt Buckles - profit to Ozbow

#1 Post by Stickbow Hunter » Wed Mar 01, 2006 4:56 pm

As most members would know, Ozbow is a non profit site and our hosting costs are considerable. We have been thinking of ways to help raise funds to meet these costs. In the furture we hope to revamp the site and attract some more sponsors but in the mean time we hope to sell some items with the profits going towards these hosting costs.

With this in mind, I have had a number of requests from members wanting to purchase a belt buckle the same as in my avatar.

I originally had these buckles made up in the early 1990's and have sold dozens of them over the years. We used the logo in conjunction with the Australian Longbow Musters that were run from the late 1980's to late 1990's.

The buckles are 80mm by 60mm and are made from a metal and are antique silver in colour as per the photo. I am still using one of the original ones and although it looks a little the worse for wear now it is still going strong.

I have placed an order for some more of these buckles and they should be ready in approximately 4 weeks.

I would like to know who would be interested in purchasing one. This would be helpful in knowing if I have ordered enough.

Please post below if you wish to order one. When the time is closer to the buckles being ready I will contact those who placed an order so payment details can be arranged.

The cost of the buckles will be $30.00 each including postage to anywhere in Australia.

All profit from these sales will go towards the hosting costs of this site.

If you have any further questions just ask.

Thanks for your support.

Jeff

There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

Thanks one and all for your overwhelming support. It looks as though I am going to have to phone and increase the order as I am now already short on what I ordered. What a great predicament to be in. :D

Thanks

Peter,

Yeah it was probably one of the very best Trad get togethers I have even been too but I may be a little biased.

I forgot to mention about peoples comments regarding shirts. It is something we would like to do so I will have to look into some designs. Will keep you posted.

Gaday Jeff...It may be an idea to put up or pm some bank datails so you can get a few dollars in to help fund the buckles...I would hate to see you with heaps of buckles and only a few takers...
Regards...Sparra

Sparra,

Thanks for that mate. The buckles are about 4 weeks away so I will get those details to those who have responded here before the buckles are sent.

I will most probably increase the order tomorrow or even early next week as that will allow time for others to order as I really don't want to have to outlay for too many left overs.
