Flatline MC2 50# take down recurve
Flatline MC2 50# @ 28" , 62" take down recurve.
$600 + postage
This is a superbly crafted bow made by Rob Nicoll of Northern QLD, it actually won the Archery Hall of Fame National bow making competition this year. Unfortunately it's a little light for me and I don't use it as often as it deserves as I prefer to use my longbow, so I would rather it go to someone else to use than wasted sitting on my rack.
This bow is made from all Australian timbers: the riser is Blush-tulip oak with strips of red tulip oak and silver-ash. The limbs are Red tulip oak with silver ash wedges.
It is forgiving and quiet with a very good dynamic efficiency; shooting a 9 grain per pound arrow drawn to 28" AMO at 190fps, with fingers.
It has been hunted with a couple of times but is in excellent condition.
Comes with an D97 string.
These bows sell for $1200 new and it is really a fantastic looking and performing bow.

That's the bow you featured in this years "Bowhunter Australia" isn't it Paul? A bloody beauty, if so!
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!

Yeah that's the one Moreton, it's a ripper mate.
I don't really want to part with it, but I'm a big believer in moving things on that don't get used and I just don't use this bow often enough. I was going to keep it for another back up or for introducing others to archery, but it just seemed too much of a waste having a great bow like this spending most of it's time sitting on my bow rack.

Crikey Paul, if that is the one you are sellin' what the hell are you keeping old boy?
I am out of the running as there are two things I am very attached to that have been slotted for removal if I buy another bow or rifle before the second half of next year.

I am an Archer. I am not a traditional archer, bowhunter, compound shooter or target archer.....I am an Archer

I have a Border Harrier GL that is my main hunting bow. I've always been a one bow man, but I'm lucky at the moment as I get to try out different bows for Bowhunter Australia magazine.

I like the way you put that, Troy.Chase N. Nocks wrote:

Very nice bow, Paul. If I had the money in my pocket...
