Got the buckles today, thanks for your time Jeff.
Now to design a belt around them is my next step.

Well fellas I have just picked up another lot of buckles; the last ones (at least for quite some time). The company that makes them has closed their doors so I can't get any more done. I guess I will have to find another manufacturer and start from scratch again. :x Anyway if anyone wants a buckle please give a holler. :D

Gidday Jeff,

The is a small foundary at Brandon that does custom work - Delta Iron Works. A few years ago my father gave me an aluminium commemorative plaque they handed out to visiting locals for their 100th anniversary. It reminds me of the belt buckle, I must locate it so I can post a photo.

If you don't have any luck closer to home perhaps they can help.

Are your previous suppliers going to give you the mould/s? It would be good to avoid another set up cost and probably some small differences in design.

Cheers......... Rod

Thanks for the info Rod. Yes, I got the mould back. The process they use is called spin moulding or some such thing and I don't think it is being done locally much anymore. I believe (like most things) it is done overseas in China or somewhere. :? Anyway, I have a number of buckles left here now so I have time to look into things.

I'm not really a belt buckle kinda guy, but I really enjoy the ozbow website, so I'll take one (and send my details via PM) to show my support.

Only very new to the site, but would be happy to help down the track if you do another run, or even if you move into different areas like t-shirts etc

Welcome to Ozbow. I don't know where you might get a Trad Archery buckle from but I don't plan on having any made.
