What glue to use for nocks?

#1 Post by Mrs Bandsaw » Fri Jul 16, 2010 10:38 am

I can't remember what glue to use for putting on nocks. Is it the same one you use for the points or for feathers?

Hi Mrs, it may depend as to what your glueing up. :?:
For if your glueing up nocks to wood shafts the best and cheapest imo, is to use Tarzan's Grip.
Like Steve said Fletchtite is good, I use it for the fletching and nocks on Alloy Shafts.
On most of the other shafts especially for indoor shooting and for a quick fix when a nock is shot off, is to use Locktite 406 Superglue.

Plastic nocks on wood --> C23 Balsa Cement
Also use it to glue feathers on wood!
You don't know? Just ask...

tarzans grip for nocks you cant go wrong with it on woods.
Same for the feathers but not if they are on laquer.
If on laquer or for carbons use super glue to hold them then I run a line of fletchtite down both sides and a bit on each end.
