Super stylish simplicity! I this one Rod. Where did you source your riser timber. It is beautiful.

I second that Jeff :!:

thanks Jeff,i've played with a few combinations of paras and tapers and different timbers its not easy to estimate what to use,so i'm going to stick to the vert.bamboo the same form and the same taper rate for awhile,or maybe do a couple more with the NG Tulip oak :D ..Thank you Steve,it turned out nicer than i expected the photo's dont really show how nice this wood is,thanks Rod. :D

Mate, far from sick of seeing them! In fact, you had better send that one down here so I can get a closer look.

Hey Rod did you find the diamondwood hard to sand and file. I used the same one in that recurve I done and boy I thought it was hard to sand. But I didnt use any sanding machines that may have helped. It shore dose come up nice when the clear goes on brings it to life.
There great bows mate.

Well I went down to visit Rod yesterday and have a look at the new bow and it's beautiful , best one yet , of course he reckons his fancy riser bows are the best but while I admire the skill he puts into the fancy risers and he is good at it , as good if not better than any of the other custom work I've seen I still love one piece risers best and I do count Dymondwood as one piece

Good one Rod

Nice work again Rod.
Flawless finish.
What do you think of the weight of the diamond wood Rod?
I got one charcoal for my next bow but I think that it's pretty heavy.

Ah! Almost forgot.
Nah mate! Not sick of seeing your bows.

Alex.

Hi Rod,

Well done, at the rate you are going you will have to extend the workshop to house all the bows.

The Dymondwood certainaly looks better than Actionwood because of its flawless transition between layers.
