here's some pics of a bow i finished last week,its 58@28in 68in ntn ,handle is Brazilian Bloodwood,purple Bloodwood,wenge.lams are silver ash,and one tulip oak.

Yes, that is a nice bow alright I saw it at the Muster. You should show a photo of the tips Rod.

i would Jeff but the ole girl was having dramas puting these photo's on ,so i wont ask her yet but she's out anyway,they're pretty much the same as the ones on the bow before that i put in trad crafts called( couple of pics ) :mrgreen: And thanks for the comments you guy's

That's just beautiful Rod :D Truly one of the nicest straight laid longbow handles I have ever seen..
Love the way the wenge looks against the other timbers.. it's a nice smelling timber to work with too if you get a good piece.

Thank you Matt and Paul, i've been making these bows for two years now and i'm finally happy with the way they are turning out. Each one seems better than the last, even tho I was happy with each one at the time. :D

Rod, that's an absolute beauty mate... Very nice combination of timber colours. What are the highlights in the handle made from?

That was just for a little variety, if I keep saying "WOW! You get better every time!" it'll lose all impact. :P
