#1 Post by ichiban » Sat May 08, 2010 6:09 am

well here we go again guys, yesterday i started on my first bow in ages, its a hickory self bow 72" tip to tip in a design thats no quite english.... but its also not that common with indian design eather...... basicly 1" wide at the grip for 4" then flairs out over an inch to 1 1/8 then tapers down to the 1/2" nocks but the cross section will be rectangular so its not quite english but its not quite indian eather.... anyway im aiming for 50lbs @ 28" and the aim of this bow is to work up the courage to start work on an osage self bow. ill let you guys know how i go. there will b pics
