My Very First Armguard.

Thought I'd share my very first leather crafting experience.


It still has some work. I'll post when it's done ... unless I stuff up :shock:

Barnham (Dragon) the armguard is looking good, :wink: I've seen that bird pattern somewhere else in history ... :?: :?: :?:nice.... also has the stiching been done by hand or machine. :?: ...............Bill

Nice, that eagle looks Incan in design maybe a Condor?

I finished the armguard but forgot to take a photo, will do at the Geelong shoot this weekend.

It was supposed to be an Eagle, I did it for Blakey, seems to have an unnatural inclination to Eagles :P

I designed it myself, but took it from animal spirit totems? From the Americas. I just knew the basic shape and went from there.

It's all stitched by hand; if I knew how long it would take I probably wouldn't have done it. lol, na I enjoyed doing it.

You said that you were going to have a go at leather working and it looks like you have learnt it really well!

Yeah I finshed it, made acouple of mistakes, but it's all about learning, have a few more toold too, you'll get to see it for yourself at Donald's next shoot :)
