Re: new arrows
With the glow-in-the-dark paint, they showed-up sufficiently-well for me to have been able to bust one of them down in the desert, resulting in one less of these gaudy arrows.
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

What are mates for eh; and I'm sure Tony will be glad to return the favour some day. With the glow-in-the-dark paint, they showed-up sufficiently-well for me to have been able to bust one of them down in the desert, resulting in one less of these gaudy arrows.

Tony,
Great work, they will certainly do the job....!
I am with you Rod, I don't think you could lose those arrows if you tried....!
Cheers Guy

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is no where as important as being able to place it in the correct spot....!
Re: new arrows
As others have suggested, they sure are bright. Try picking up a UV torch from one of the online stores and seeing how the colours respond. I don't like fluro colours in my arrows but use them at home anyway. If I use a UV torch and have a look for lost arrows after dinner they can be seen even when burried deep in the grass as they shine so brightly.

Re: new arrows
Tony great first job there. Be careful if you start making others as it becomes a bit addictive and the bows get left in the corner for a while.
Post us a picture of your next set you can never have enough arrows mate there a bit like fishing lures.
Cheers Wayno

Re: new arrows
Well I have now seen one of these arras for real - yep the colours are bright. The Oregon is beautiful with nice straight grain and one of the stiffest I have seen.
The one I have is personally autographed as well and will make a great addition to my arra collection - thanks Tony!

Re: new arrows
I hope you were wearing your sunnies, Jeff! That Tony fellow has such gaudy arrows, I think he should get a gaudy bow to shoot them!

Re: new arrows
Oh yeah Ben it was rather colourful - regardless it would look good placed in the boiler room of a good Ol' NT boar.
