Well done, great looking arrows, the colour blue is very easy to fine on the ground, not alot of grass or wild flowers grow that colour, so making then easier to find when you miss, not that you miss very often..

Nice work mate. I like the different shades of Blue you have used. The colours remind me of those little Superb Fairey Rens. The stain you used looks good also.

Hi Blu-dog,
I agree with Jeff, the different shades of blue that you have used looks really good and I think the stain has come out really nicely. Good job!

Paul each set get better and better mate. Do the German pine shafts weigh more then the POC shafts if thats no to much of a dum question.

One of the guys from aussiebowhunter.com posted this comparison on my arrow thread:
Based on a random selection of 3 shafts 60-65 spine [I assume 33"]
POC- 415 gr
Scots Pine- 451 gr
German Pine- 474 gr.

Cheers,
Paul

They certainly are some very amazing arrows there blu, never seen blue arrows myself but like someone pointed out, atleast you know there yours and are easy to find out in the scrub. Can i ask where you got the blunts from?

I recently bought some scots pine shafts from John and i was delighted with them. After making up a set for some testing i shot them through the bush and did a few pass through shots on my cardboard target and even hit a tree and didnt do much.

Layers of cardboard strapped together and i did some shots through some Styrofoam that was in the box that came with my bandsaw with extra bags and paper to fill the gaps.
