Arrow Grain and Placement of Fletching/Nock

#1 Post by Brumbies Country » Fri Sep 25, 2009 8:26 pm

This is something I perhaps should have paid more attention to in the past. What's the recognised wisdom of grain relation to nock? Should the arrow nock be located so that the string is parallel to the grain of the arrow's cross-section or some other configuration? I've put together alot of wood arrows and never worried. Might explain a few things if I've got ot wrong  :)

Check this link out...hopefully it'll clarify the issues you've raised.
