I like Oregon as it really does make beautiful arra shafts. You can buy it new from timber yards or some old window and bed frames were made from it.

I like Douglas fir. They're a bit heavier than cedar, and come in the heavy spines. They're supplied by www.surewoodshafts.com . Jeff, is Oregon another name for Douglas fir? I thought I heard that.
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

Both names are commonly used.

Neither are scientific nomenclature.

So, what is the correct binomial, Kev? :wink:
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!
