You can make them using a hollowed out Macadamia nut impaled on the end of an arrow with three holes drilled into the nut at 45 degrees to the plane of the arrow equally placed 120 degrees apart. You drill a tapered hole through the nut to accommodate the arrow shaft. When you have the big holes you empty the nut meat out and drill the three small holes. Bede Dwyer told me about this.

The fire arrows that I posted as part of a set of medieval like handforged points by Troy also whistle if you do not put in the fire cloth.

never complain....you did not have to wake up....every day is an extra bonus and costs nothing.

I finally made some whistling points today they work pretty good...there made from stainless stell tubing soldered onto a field point, squashed at on end and then two hole are drilled.
