Piggy's new Footed arrows....

#1 Post by Al Kidner » Fri Jun 12, 2009 2:49 pm

Well seeing the man is on the new cover of Stickbow Emag I thought I better get him some better arrows than what was showen!

So ... here are some Hickory shafts footed with Purpleheart and are nice and heavy to send through a Sambar in the back country.

There in the mail mate and you should have 'em early next week to cheer you up some. No shooting till your better though!

And if you happen to miss that big sambar Piggy, he won't be worried because he will just think it was a big angry wasp flying past. :D

They're very nice arrows indeed!!

Mick
There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

Wow Al! With all you cram into your life, how on Earth do you find the time to make such fine arrows?
Lately, if life were treating me any better, I'd be suspicious of it's motives!

Well I'm not real sure on that one mate... I guess I dont get to hunt as much as I'd like to do, but that'll change soon enough.

Top stuff, Al!

It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

My arrows arrived today and the picture does not do them justice, these are without a doubt the most exceptional arrows I have ever seen.

Al you have done a superb job, these shafts are a credit to your workmanship.

Now I just have to get out into the bush and boold some.

Thanks Mate
