Very nice, indeed! Congratulations!

It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

Very nice, I like your positioning of the "power lamination" very effective. Steve

Good looking bow, well done.

From the photos it would appear that the blackbutt can handle the bamboo.
Can you post some dimensions of the bow i.e. bow length, limb width and thickness?

Well done, Ichiban.

I remember not that long ago you were just starting.

Wow, you have come along way in short time. Well done. I like the look of the tiller. I second Steve's comment - the jarrah power lam looks just right.

Just re-reading your post - it is a blackbutt backing over a boo belly (boo floorboard)???

thanks for the kind replys guys.
the specs are 70" long 1.25" at the center 10" taper to .75" 21" from center the a touch under .5" nocks.
yep its the same boo you would get in a floor board but i get them as "bamboo screening" which is .75" thick 3" wide and 75" long and sell for $8 each ( i know i love it).
LB it is indeed antler on the tips.. i didnt think i would like it as just an overlay (most of what i have seen have been verry thick) but it looks really quite nice.
thanks again guys its always nice to get positive feedback.

Great look bow there - like it!

Where do you get the bamboo screening from? I keep drawing a blank around Canberra trying to get a hold of bamboo flooring
