...didn't take folks long to line up for the Saturday night Pot Luck (and the moose steaks I brought to the kit... didn't last long!). There were around 600 come set to eat... in the downpour... it rained ALL weekend. But no one cared.

Looks as though it was a good weekend CM. Very green and leafy there. I have been to several of the Traditional shoots and bow making weekends in the States, they are always a lot of fun and plenty of interesting people to talk to, and I always learn a lot at those shoots as people are only too willing to share and pass on their knowledge. Hopefully I will make it over there again next year for more of the same. As good as the shoots are the food the people are fantastic...Glenn...

Figured you already knew this, Glenn... but you have a place to stay (and whatever is in season to go after) if you're anywhere in the area (East Arkansas). 8)

Thanks for that CM, I will look you up, the plan is to go over next year but will just have to see how life pans out for me this year as the the last 3 year have been fairly rugged to say the least. I do enjoy travelling around the States. Next time I will put more effort into learning the finer points of knapping as some of the knapping you see there is unbelievable...Glenn...

That was fun CM, I recognised 2 faces, knew one name and picked up a few tips. Beautiful photos. Steve

Great pic's CM...Looks like a very relaxed weekend and with 600 people lining up for a feed just shows how popular these weekends are over there...

Good stuff, CM; looks like you had a ball!
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.
