floor board bow

Ok so i thought i might take out some of my bamboo failures on these australian hardwood floorboards. Here is what i started with.

The small one is the one i started on, will probably fail because its so short. 50".

After i went to town on it with my new hatchet, thanks to glenn who gave me the idea of making a bow from just some random tools.

Now i am going to rasp the stave into a sort of bow like shape, probably go for a flat bow. Nice and light. Post some more pics in 10-20 minutes.

Dimensions are 50" long, 35mm wide and 20 thick.

i think that may be 2 narrow i persoanly would go for about 2" wide untill 2/3 up the limb then taper to 1/2" nocks still would prolly be to short though..... should be fine for say 23-25" draw, but it may work if the limbs cross section is perfectly rectangular

Tapered to 20mm at the tips. 20 mm thick aswell.
