Making a Couple of Longbows

#1 Post by woodie » Sun Nov 20, 2016 1:23 pm

Hi all how's it all going?
Back in the beginning of the year, where has the time gone, I was asked to make a bow each for the 2 boys from next door. I talked them into a longbow instead of a compound.
Anyway finally got one out of two glued up today with the other to go into the form in a few days.
They have 2 100 thou parallel and 1 0.100"/001 tapper bamboo lams with 0.040" black glass, using the Bingham's bow weight chart.
Will put some photos up later.
