Colour Changes in Exotic Woods

Over the many years of bow making I have had numerous requests for exotic / patterned timbers to be used in risers and veneers under clear glass.
At times it can be difficult to explain to clients how the colour in the timber can degrade in a relatively short time. I have managed to convince a client not to use Osage in his newly ordered longbow.
