Opinion is that thin prestretched leather can increase draw weight on bows.Kangaroo leather seemsa good one to try as its Aussie!

that is a very interesting experiment Rob!. Does seem to act much the same way as sinew, and is well worth a try if i get seme suitable 'roo' hide.
