Osage orange

#1 Post by ontothepigs » Sat Nov 28, 2015 7:42 pm

Does anyone know how to get onto some Osage orange for a self bow or is that like asking where all the deer hang out. Bit iffy on getting something internationally as the dollar is garbage and I don't trust it.

Cheers

None that I know of up your way mate, most is in NSW that I'm aware of anyway.

I have bought a stave from a bloke on Ebay and its exactly what was pictured and a pretty decent stave, though I agree the dollar is garbage at the moment. My stave ran me $220 to get it over here but arrived in 2 weeks, no hassles. I will see if I can find you the link to his stuff.

Few guys on here might be able to help you out as well. hopefully they'll chime in eventually.
