Offset silencers

#1 Post by bstan86 » Wed Nov 18, 2015 10:44 am

I can't remember who posted about it but I tried this idea of having your bottom silencer say 1/4 up and the top 1/3.
It worked quite well for me and I reckon it is more effective than the traditional way of putting both at 1/4 or both at 1/3.
It also makes total sense if you understand how basic harmonics work.

Has anyone else here tried this and noticed a difference?

G'day Bstan76, Its called Heterodyning... I use 1/4 from top and 1/3 from bottom. Just keeps the cats whiskers slightly further away from face. Will work either way.
