Hi all I have a question, my daughter would like me to make her a longbow and she would like to have green in the limbs, how would I go about colouring bamboo lams green?
Any thoughts?

3 Rivers and Binghams sell dye suitable for dying lams, not sure if anyone over here does though.

Hi Ron,
I have tried the powdered dye and was not overly impressed.
Spirit based stains have worked well on vertical bamboo laminations, any of the non oil based stains should work but you would need to ascertain its compatibility with two pack epoxy glues.
Daryl.
