Well due to multiple requests I've developed a take-down version of the Raptor. Very happy with the result .
It's exactly the same as the one piece Raptor but with a little more mass in the riser which makes it even nicer and more stable to shoot.
This (number) one is for a lucky fella from the Mossman Bow club.
They go for $1,200 plus postage.
Bow stats: 50#@28". 58" n-n
Timbers:
Riser; Burdekin Plum, Beefwood and Silver Ash veneers.
Limbs: Back- Red Tulip Oak, Belly- Burdekin Plumb.
Overlays; Off-cuts from the riser block.
Oh yeah, and I made a pig out of some high density (ex-mattress) foam and one of those 1.2mx1.2m lock together gym mats.
Cheers, Rob.
