Bamboo backed Osage Flatbow.......

#1 Post by mikaluger » Mon Apr 06, 2015 4:06 pm

Here is a bow I have wanted to make for awhile, a Dean Torges style Flatbow.
Spliced osage billets with a full bamboo back and an osage fillet to cover the handle join.
55Lb @ 28", 63"NtN. Nice and quick. Slanted osage and buffalo horn tip overlays.

Very nice indeed!
There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

Well done Mick,

I like the way you did the tip overlays, they say a lot without making a noise.
