Always wanted to have a crack at making an primitive style deerskin back quiver. So I cut up a fallow deer skin I tanned from last years rutt and used up the scrap leather off cuts I had hanging around to finish it off. An antler pin with some wooden beads and some bush pheasant feathers and she's done. You gotta love making your own gear I recone.

That looks great I have been toying with the idea myself. Seeing your finished product is inspirational did you use a pattern or just draw it up your self.

No pattern Stu just make it up as Im going along. The only measurement I make shore about is as long as its deep enough to fit my arrows in properly.
Perry just stitched a piece of leather onto the bottom and put a piece of rubber on the inside to stop the points and broad heads wearing the stitching out.

Thanks for the kind replies all.

Cheers Wayno
