My first tri lam!!

Morning all,
Thought I might share the latest piece I'm working on. My very first go at a tri lam.
The bow is somewhat a salvage effort as the hickory backing was cut off another bow I had made but wasn't too impressed with. So I made better use of it and after removing it and some careful sanding it came up pretty well.
The core timber is a 5mm thick strip of red ironbark I had left as an off cut from a warbow belly.
The belly started as a 19mm thick piece of Brazilian teak decking.
Glued it all up 2 days ago and left it dry for 24 hrs. Cut the basic tapers yesterday according to my new and improved template (wanted to confirm if it works as well as I thought), that being the handle thickness is 2 times that of the tips. Tips are 13mm thick while the handle is 26 and the handle is 30mm wide.
Shaped the belly this morning, re cut the nocks, knocked up a quick Fast Flight string and got to tillering. An hour later this is the result.
All it too to get this bend at 5in brace was some light scraping of the right hand limb to even them out as it was a little stiff in close to mid limb.
Pulls 50lbs @ 20 inches at the moment.
The bow originally was for and customer to look at and potentially purchase however he was looking for 50lb@28" tho and I would need to sink it a fair bit to get there. I think it would go 70 maybe 75 @ 28 at the moment.
In a bit of a pickle now as I would really like to hang onto this one. It would make a great ELB hunter/target bow I reckon and I think it will be very fast since its only taken about 5mm of set so far.
Let me know what you think of the bow so far.
Straight shooting,
Colin
