This is todays effort. It stores flat by removing the top pins, flattening the frame and reinserting the pins. About $80 worth of materials I'd guess. I used some gear from on hand so I don't know the full cost. I took some "work in progress" photos but don't have time to resize and post now, will put them up later.

Looks good Rod. Will be interesting to see how long it lasts. I think end grain wood would be better for throwing knives and hawks at.

that's an interesting looking target you have there Rod, it'll be remarkable to see how long it lasts.
Like wise I think as said, the end grain of a big diameter log would stand up better to the heavy blows of the Hawk and knife thrown at it several hundred times.
But again its different and I hope it serves you well.
