#1 Post by bigbob » Fri Aug 01, 2014 2:02 pm

Couple of shots of a bow i recently finished and sent south. by far the most intricate I've made.Riser has mosaics of purple heart and silver ash running through it as well as under belly ramp overlays.

Belly ramps have deer antler overlays. bow is 65# at 28'' and 62'' NTN. It has osage and hairy oak overlays on back of bow.

thanks guys, yeah there was quite a bit of work in it but hey when you're doing what you like rather than doing something just to earn a crust it makes it easier.

thanks Jeff. Better take this opportunity to moderate the comments by Cmoore too. I might be accused of being artistic or diligent but I'm afraid I have a long way to go before i could begin to be considered a master craftsman  I do appreciate the thought but haven't earned such praise to date.
