A couple more Elb's, Hickory backed Red oak and elm

Made these to order, red oak 44lb @28" and Elm 47lb @ 28", both backed with hickory and 74" NtN.

Mikaluger with your Red Oak bow, did you use one long strip of Hickory to back it and if so did you just use Titebond or something else?

mate please disregard my last post. You actually already answered this with your comments on my post recently. It is just that I actually bought a Hickory pick handle from Masters at Chullora yesterday and plan on cutting some 1/8 strips, splicing them and applying them to my latest Red Oak longbow project. I don't now any other way to obtain a long piece of that precious and rare bloody wood.
