Bamboo backed ELB

Hi all knowledgeable bow builders.I am about to start a Bamboo backed ELB,my questen is would Quila be sutitable for the back wood.

Hi Fraser I always shot a lingbow but the bow,s have stayed the same but I have got older or weaker.

Hi I have use Merbau/Quilla for backing and it does have some value but the bows I made were 76 " . IMHO it needs support from a third laminate ,any way give it a go :)

Thank you four your reply RE Quila.I did not know that the Bamboo backed bow that you shared on the Ozbow site contained Quila,my mistake.The only reason I picked Quila was that our local Bunning,s store stocked it and you can view it.
