Had nothing to do for a moment so thought I'd stick up a few pics of arrows I've made - for those who enjoy looking at such things.

Top Hat sent me some black steel points. The design started there. Stained to look a bit carbony. Grey metallic crown. Not very traditional.

Hardley "bodged together", they are beautiful. I would have trouble shooting those as I would be worried about them.

Here's a few more (one or two of the previous one's in close up). No 'Ace Of Spades' I'm afraid but the eight spliced black and fluoro jobs could be described as 'Overkill' (for the Motorhead fans). I've shot a lot of these arrows around unmarked Field Shoots like Wisemans. It's fine if you don't miss much.

I've seen a lot of these down at the range and the quality of them is amazing.
The photos don't do them justice.

What Andy didn't tell you is that he has a matching pair of shoes for use with this set:

Who said you can't accessorise in archery, huh Andy ;)

I have had the pleasure of buying some of Andy's arrows second hand and used them for years.....they go exceptionally well. One set I still have 10/12 left. I have shot about 300-400 arrows a week with them for a few years and have even spliced extra repair lengths of shafts and they still go great.

Gene-O asked for a few more pics. So here's a few more. Pretty much all I have pics of.
These are the bright, easy-to-find jobbies I use around the Challenge Course at Wisemans. Smashed a couple the other week. Hey ho.

A first 'proper' set for a chap at our club. I think he broke most of them within about five weeks. Lesson, start with cheapo arrows.

That is a new meaning of the word Bodged, I would say Crafted at the very least. There are some really beautiful shafts there Andy.

... Ahhhhh, this thread makes me want to cry  I had almost an identical plan in my mind as your God save the Queen to be Aussie flag, bugger as I ordered Red white and blue feathers specifically for this!!!

I will have to think around this so mine look different - erm apart from the reality that mine will obviously be a much lesser quality.

Great work Andy, very inspiring indeed.

Cheers

Jase
