Just accepted a job on a station in the middle of nowhere. Ill have bugger all to do in my free time there, as my bow is broken and there is no internet.
I was thinking to try and make a selfbow but i have no idea what wood to use here.
I did search but couldn't find much. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated
Cheers, Charlie

I really dont have much of an idea myself, but i am sure you will get the answer from some of the guys with self bow experience soon. Think some wattles could be good for a start.

If the station is in central QLD, you would do well to see if you can lay your hands on some brigalow.
Very good wood, that.
