Agghghghg. Should have used a water based paint. Used a spray paint, sealed it with spray varnish, but by gee, Fletch-tite is a damn good solvent.....a bit untidy and wont post pix, yet.
However, my brother in law has asked for some bass flies to use over in the USA. So I skun up the attached. - I've always found goldfish work anywhere
more of an attractor that one -

Have tied a bunch of deer hair beetles and some other streamers (using some fur from a goat I shot and tanned). Will post shortly

I wouldn't really know a good fly from a bad one mate but they look fine to me.
I never use waterbase varish on my arrows. From the little you said I take it the Fletch-tite blistered the paint? If so, was the varish properly dry?

It did blister - and lifted the paint to.
Now seems to be OK -but a bit untidy. The varnish appeared to be properly dry.

That is an unusal thing to happen with Fletch-tite and varnish.
