Wow I love this case! Could make one for a T.D recurve to match it! :D

Too cool, Craig! You'd want the husky type of arrow case, then. :D

"As a general rule, a man archer prefers a husky type of arrow case that will stand plenty of rough handling. A woman is more likely to want a light and attractive case."

It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

The huskier, the better, Ben! :D

Actually, this is probably in the wrong place. Does one of the MODs want to move it over to "Traditional Tackle" or "Traditional Crafts", please?

Hi Craig.

In my opinion I would make a simple arrow case before I made a complex one with good timber. I showed this to few people at Wisemans on the weekend so you can get other opinions.

The body of the case is some MDF I picked up from Bunnings reinforced with some Pine leftovers from another project. I purchased the foam from my local supplier and they cut it to the required dimension and it was laminated with some contact cement. The foam was the most expensive thing in the whole project The next version will have less than half as much foam in it - I will remove a 12" centre section . The current amount is an overkill plus it actually makes it hard to load.

This is the case. The handle is a bit of scrap leather and the catches are just some small Hasp and Staples from Bunnings.

This is the inside. The arrow direction alternates and the arrows are offset so that I can pack it without damaging the fletches.

I have made wooden arra cases in the past but after trying many options I think you can't beat the MTM Arrow Cases - I use the Arrow Plus cases. They hold three dozen arras plus a good assortment of other gear, they are light yet strong, have no sharp corners to damage the inside of vehicles and because of this they are great to pack in. They are also great if you have to travel by plane for a far off hunting trip.

I suspect you're right there, Jeff, but this is something for around the home to keep all my arras together and neat. MTM for travel, no doubt, though.
