Wood arrows again...

#1 Post by kimall » Sun Sep 05, 2010 5:59 pm

I thought I had grown out of wood arrows but the need to make some for the trad shoots around the place has me playing around with this strange material again. It is addictive though so I will be making some more when I get some sticks from Steve soon. These are some I made for the Daughter after Gene-O made her some for the Corry I had to make some to match and some Flu Flus also.
Cheers KIM

they look like a work of art on there own , kinda shame to bang them around ,dont know a thing about them yet , but once i get to the stage where i need to make them by the look of it my old fishing rod building lathe is going to come in handy glad i never sold it when i stopped building rods .
always seems to happen when its least expected most

Gene mate you will be impressed with me I found about 15 old woods from years ago in the shed and they fly good from the new bow so I have been shooting them today. They are even crested and have spliced feathers on them.
Cheers KIM.
