This review refers to the second edition.
The first problem you may face is getting copy of this work.
This is the definitive book on FITA style target archery and was written by, in my opinion, the greatest archer ever. He was the GNAS Champion for 11 years in a row and won it 12 trimes overall. Also note that it took over 50 years for his scores on the double York to be beaten.
H.A. Ford also originated the under-the-chin anchor.
The book details the use and manufacture of a Victorian English Longbow and its use on the Target range. In it he also writes of technique etc.
A highly recommended read on two accounts. One, it is a historic work and, two, it still offers much information for the modern archer.
