these are some old cedar shafts i've had for ages, so i thought i'd use them to break in that taper cutter i made.
nothing flash, but they are all closely matched, and bareshafted beautifully out of my bacote centaur. i'd forgotten just how quiet wood shafts are.....

What do you mean nothing flash. Timber that has been growing for decades, carefully matched with feathers that when examined aerodynamically cannot be matched by the worlds best engineers with points and nocks applied perfectly on center.
Give your self some credit. Wood arrows are beautiful even when unadorned

well i guess when you put it like that steven - they are pretty shmick hey...
i do love the look of some of the awsome crested arrows you see here, but i just couldn't be bothered doing that when they shoot just as well without.
