The Perentie
This is a new bow for my range. The Perentie, named after Australia's largest monitor lizard of the same name. It has an Australian Silky Oak riser with black fibreglass limbs. This particular bow is 45# @ 28". And as you can see, it's a deflex/reflex longbow. I'm quite happy with it and the colour in the grain of the Silky Oak really stands out.

Re: The Perentie
Thanks gents, I've liked the Silky Oak for some time and I think it looks great in a bow.

Stu, great looking bow, it must be super light with that silky oak riser. I have a heap of it but mainly use it for my wood turning never really thought of using it for a bow.
I like the black accent strip as it goes with the black glass you used. Congratulations on an new line in your bows.
Cheers Wayno

Re: The Perentie
Thanks Wayno, yeah it is pretty light to hold. You hardly feel it in your hand.
