Any camping and hunting gear that doesn't fall directly under the Traditional banner, but is complementary to what we do: tents, stoves, 4 wheel drives & tyres, wearable gear etc.

Had a mate telling about a cooker for a camp oven a hunter had
Could only discribe it a bit so here it is
A cylinder high enough to enclose camp oven(don't think it had a lid)
Holes drilled around the outside of cylinder for air
Hot rocks inside with I think a Hexamine tablet
Apparently it cooked a stew with one Hexamine as once rocks got hot it cooked the meal ,
Has anyone come across a plan for the above and particulars on its use in their travels or web searches
I am intersested in making one

There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

Coach
A rifle shooter had one (hehad built it) and used it on a guided hunting trip
I was told about it
It sounds as if it works on the same principle as the COBB
Just thought someone may have seen one
