Hey guys,

I'm moving to Canberra in the new year and just wanted to know if anyone knows of any archery clubs and shops in the area?

Hey Jim, I just did a quick Google search and it appears that Canberra has a least 2 archery shops and about 4 archery clubs, including a field archery club with large grounds where they shoot 3D often. It looks like a good place for an archer to live.
There is no use focusing on aiming if you don't execute the shot well enough to hit what your are aiming at.

Tuggeranong is an AA club that shoots both Target and Field, but mainly Target. Steve is no longer the main contact but he'll be able to tell you who is. Their web site is:

http://home.tuggeranongarchery.com/

If you're more interested in ABA than AA, then Capital Field Archers might suit you better. They shoot both paper and 3D, and the main contact is Charlie Azzopardi (0417-663-481). The CFA web site is at:

http://capitalfieldarchers.com.au/

They also have a Facebook page at:

https://www.facebook.com/CapitalFieldArchers

There are other AA clubs in Canberra too, but TAC and CFA are the ones I know most about. Help this helps.
