Kids!!!

#1 Post by Stickbow Hunter » Fri Dec 07, 2012 1:51 pm

Kids sure come out with some funny sayings at times. Recently Jude was with our daughter and granddaughters and our littlest granddaughter, three year old Charlotte, was wearing a Christmas hat with reindeer all around it. Jude asked her what was on her hat and she proudly stated "Reingoats Nan".  Jude was a bit taken back but no matter what Jude said Charlotte insisted they were reingoats.

Our son in-law has tried to tell her they are reindeer but she won't have a bar of it. Also we gave her a Christmas T shirt with reindeer on it and she tells everyone they are reingoats. A few days ago I sat her on one of my 3D deer targets and yep she reckoned it was a reingoat - funny as! I think she must think Pop hunts reingoats.

She is a real little character and this is a photo taken of her being cute (as her Tshirt says) on a walk up at Cania Gorge last Easter.

Somehow I don't think the new Christmas song, "Rudolf the red nosed reingoat" will be much of a hit!

Love it. My eldest daughter used to call Unicorns, "Roomyporns"... and scarecrows, "scarescotes"! Made for some interesting and hilarious moments.

Jeff, we may all need to be re-educated! Charlotte sure has the look of a lady who knows what she is talking about and look out anyone who wants an argument  . I think it may be something as simple as chromosomes, my better half is always right even when I used to be sure she was not :surprised:

Very nice photo there mate, something to treasure later on in life 8) .

Cheers..... Rod

Now some may call me a S*** stirrer, but around here, I'm the one telling the young and impressionable the "correct" names of things.

Truth is highly flexible, skellingtons is too a real word, and eleventy seven is my favourite number.

My kids think I'm strange....... I know they are right.
