when i was aboul 18 i went hunting with a mate of mine who was full on primative and hunted boar with spears. what an adrenalin rush. make sure you have at least 2, 3 is better as they get very ****** off with a spear stuck in them. the other one is not for throwing but to use as a keep away to finnish then off with if needed. the ones we used had foot long blades on 4.5-5 foot shafts.
