Just say'n g'day.

General discussions. Politics, scuttlebutt, whatever: you're getting married, changing jobs, got a gripe or a compliment, dying to get out with the bow etc.....

Just say'n g'day.

#1 Post by rickw » Wed Aug 12, 2009 8:07 pm

Well I thought it was about time I made my first real post.My name is Rick Wallder and I live in north east Victoria.Recently got back into archery after a 30 plus year lay off and I'm realy enjoying it.The game I hunt locally are deer. fox and rabbits.I've wacked a few rabbits with the bow but the foxes and deer have eluded me so far.When time permits I head over to the Twin city bowmen for their sunday shoots and it has also been great.I'd to say thanks to Gundy and crow creek (Phil) for their help with the site and tips on bowweight ect.
Cheers Rick

G'day Rick! :D
It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder,
It's the forests where silence has lease;
It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder,
It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

Hi Rick, welcome aboard. Glad, to see another local enjoying the facilities of the TCB, I'm from Wodonga myself and I too enjoy the odd sunday out at the Jindera Gap. At the moment I'm recovering from a shoulder operation and have a few more weeks until I am able to shoot again.

May catch you there soon.........Bill
