Subject: Ted Nugent
"Ted Nugent, a heavy metal guitar legend and devoted (bow) hunter, was
being interviewed by a French journalist. Eventually, the conversation
turned to his love of outdoor pursuits. The journalist asked, "What do
you think the last thought is in the head of a deer before you shoot it?
Is it, "Are you my friend?" or maybe "Are you the one who killed my
brother?"
Nugent replied, "They aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they
care about is, What am I going to eat next? Who am I going to screw
next? and, Can I run fast enough to get away?
They are very much like the French in that way."
The crew of the "Rainbow Warrior" may not agree with you Ted.

I don't know why it is that these things get changed all the time, it is like chinese whispers except there is no excuse when you can just cut and paste.
The reporter was English and was interviewing Ted for a British magazine.

I thought it was funny enough as it was, making the reporter French was obviously done by someone who needs to be bludgeoned by the humour.Buford wrote:jindy, the gag wouldn't work with a brittish reference instead of french (*see WW2 history).
I thought maybe he said it BECAUSE the reporter was English

reminds me of Neitzsche"s book "Neitzsche contra Wagner"
musicians should stay out of politics, just like actors should do (remember ray-gun Reagan?). Having expertise in one area does not make your opinions in any other area anything but that of a layman, no matter how famous you are.
While having read the article I applaud his honesty on hunting, I wonder how hunting and heavy metal will help his economic and sociolegal skills?
