Re: Hello all
Welcome Wayne, Glad you have been bitten by the Trad bug. There is a nice LH recurve in the trade blanket at the moment that would accommodate your long draw. However it is a top of the line Blacktail from memory. Cheers Steve

Re: New here new bow
The bow looks great Cmoore! A man after my own heart. I look forward to seeing more of your work. $120 isn't much when you consider you have produced a bow that is worth 10 times as much and the glass bowyers pay a similar cost for their materials. I have quite a few short staves that will lend them...

Yes Jeff, a big thankyou for all you have done for Traditional Archery. Not just on Ozbow but in the magazines and the Muster etc. You were a big influence in my choice to follow the path of Trad Archery.

Re: Buildalong#2- Hickory pickhandle longbow
Yeah, it looks great Sabinus. Daves advice regarding leaving it in a dry place is good. An air conditioned room/by a fire to drive out moisture before sealing may pick up a few pounds of weight if you clamp it straight. If it was not backed I would suggest heating it with a heat gun into reflex to d...

Re: Buildalong#2- Hickory pickhandle longbow
Hi Sabinus, looking good. Congratulations on the new comer to the family. Yeah it looks like you are at the stage of fitting a short string.
